Way back in 2004 Katie started the Munster Mag, and did a Daily Dog spot, which she maintained and changed daily. Then in September 2005 she set up a "Daily Dog Blog" and passed the job to Elle and Jo. We continued with this format until 2008, when we moved to the Pixel Post setup, which gave us more scope for "categories" or "albums". Now, the "Dog of the Day" is not necessarily changed every day - although sometimes it can be changed more than once a day! It is now done by Ali, with a 'backup team' of Elle occasionally.

We are a group of owners who are trying to enjoy our breed, and support the AHT via photos. The photo site has a link to the AHT, as does the News site, and every year we hope to produce a calendar - with proceeds going to the AHT. The 2009 calendar made almost £400 - we hope to improve on that. . .

To do the calendar we must have good quality high resolution photographs, and - in some way we want to "reward" the regular contributors to the photo site. So we plan to select the best photos throughout the year - this does not mean that someone who just sends in one fabulous photo would be excluded from the calendar, but it does mean we would give preference to those who regularly contribute. Last year we had to do three versions just to fit all in . . that is not ideal! Anyone can contribute, but only the main contributors will be listed and have their own category. If everyone sent in one photo a month we would then have a choice of 12 of their photos for the calendar, so we could choose the best possible picture, with a variety of poses etc.
